Head of Sustainability
Luke Suniga is delighted to take on the roles of Head of Sustainability and Year 2 teacher. Originally hailing from the picturesque region of Cumbria, England, he grew up surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District. This natural beauty instilled in him a deep-seated passion for sustainability and a lifelong commitment to protecting and preserving the environment.
He is enthusiastic about fostering a sense of environmental stewardship in his students and believes that developing a strong understanding of the world and our role is essential for young learners. Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, he wishes to inspire all pupils to explore how they can make a positive impact on the planet, nurturing both their curiosity and their sense of responsibility.
As Head of Sustainability, he is eager to lead initiatives that promote eco-friendly practices within the school community. His vision is to embed sustainability into the heart of the school’s culture, ensuring that it thrives as a hub of environmental awareness and action.
