We are proud to be a pilot school for the exciting new Read Like a GEM programme, launched in partnership with ReadingWise and the wider GEMS Education network. This innovative initiative is designed to codify reading across GEMS schools, creating a shared language and consistent approach to literacy that empowers every learner.
What is Read Like a GEM?
Read Like a GEM is more than just a reading programme—it is a framework that promotes deep comprehension, academic vocabulary and reader confidence. Through structured strategies and engaging content, students learn how to think critically, reflect meaningfully and approach reading as lifelong learners.
Our Partnership with ReadingWise
By working closely with ReadingWise, we are bringing world-class tools and expertise into our classrooms. Their evidence-based approach supports all learners—whether they are developing foundational reading skills or stretching toward higher-order analysis and fluency.
